My Account (Registration)

Am I required to create a account?

No, creating a account is not required; however, there are many benefits to having an account, which make booking tickets a breeze! It allows you to store your credit cards for Quick Checkout, save your favourite cinemas for easy access, view your order history, special promotional offers, and more.

We also provide a guest option which allows you to book tickets without creating an account on our site.

How do I change my email address and/or password?

Sign in to your account via the "Sign In" link located within the top navigation area. Once logged in, you can edit your information by clicking on the "Change" button under the "General Preferences" section. To change your email address, simply enter in your new email and click the "Update Account" button to save your information. To change your password, click the "Update Your Password" link. On the next page, enter your old password and your new password and click "Update Password" to save your information.

I forgot my password! How can I find out what it is?

If you have forgotten your password, please go to the "Sign In" page and click on the "Forgot Your Password?" link. You will be asked to submit your email address. We will reset your password and send a new one to the email address associated with your account.

Why am I receiving emails from distributes various marketing communications to those who have signed up for it via their account. We do not sell our database to others, nor spam our members with other emails. If you would like to manage or change your marketing preferences, click here.

What is Quick Checkout?

Quick Checkout is a time saving feature of Once you have created an account and your credit card information is stored on our secure servers, Quick Checkout allows you to enter your password to book film tickets without manually re-entering your credit card information every time. You can start using Quick Checkout by signing in to the website. Under the "Quick Checkout" section, click the "change" button, then on the next page, enter your credit card type, number and expiration, and then click on the "Add Credit Card" button.

I created an account and saved my credit card number in the Quick Checkout section. Why can't I use this feature when booking my tickets?

You must be logged into your account to be able to use this function when booking your tickets online. Please click on the "Sign In" link in the navigation bar at the top of the page and sign in.

How do I add or delete my credit card information?

Sign into your account in the main navigation bar at the top of the site. Click on the "Change" button in the Quick Checkout column. Here you will be able store multiple credit cards to book your film tickets quickly and easily. You may add a credit card by filling in the credit card information in the right column. Click the "Add Credit Card" button and it will appear in the left column under "Stored Payment Methods." To delete a credit card, select the check box of the card you wish to delete in the left column and click the "Delete" button.

How do I set my favourite cinemas?

When creating your account, be sure to fill out the "Personalise" area of the My Account section. You can choose up to five of your favourite cinemas within a 40-mile radius of the postal code you have selected. These cinemas will appear at the top right of the site in the "Welcome (Your Name)" area dropdown for your convenience. Another way to add a favourite cinema to your list of favourites is from the cinema page. Under the cinema's logo will be a heart-shaped icon that allows you to "Add to Favourites." Clicking on the icon will add or delete that cinema from your "Favourite Cinemas" list.

To delete or change your favourites, log into your account. Under the "Personalise" section, check or uncheck the cinemas you wish to have displayed as your favourites.

How do I know if I am signed in and out of my account?

Clicking the "Sign In" tab in the top navigation area will take you to the sign in page to enter in your email address and password to log in. Once signed in, the top navigation will say "Welcome (Your Name)". When you hover over "Welcome (Your Name)" the favourite cinemas you have selected will be listed. If you have not selected any favourite cinemas, click the "Personalise" link to go directly to that page. Click on the "My Account" button to edit your account settings. Click the "Log Out" button to sign out of your account. When you have successfully logged out, the "Sign In" and "Join Now" tabs will reappear. It is suggested that you log out of your account before you leave our site.

Searching for Films and Cinemas

How do I find a movie near me?

You can search for current or future films by selecting the "Film" tab in the top navigation bar on the homepage. Select a current film from the list provided or enter the film name in the top search box beside "Enter Keyword to Search for Films" and click "Go." To find showtimes for this film, enter your postal code in the tabbed area in the middle of the film page. Click "Go" and this area will be replaced with the cinemas that are playing this film. You may need to increase the search radius to find a particular cinema.

How do I find a cinema near me?

Type in your postal code or city and county (ex: M3 4EN, Manchester or Manchester, Lancashire) in the "enter a postal code or city, county" search box and click the search icon. You will see a list of cinemas in your area in a 15-mile radius. You can customize this list by adjusting the radius to a range of up to 40 miles or as close as 5 miles of the postal code or city you have entered. Click on a cinema name to show its cinema information, including showtimes and location.

Booking Tickets Online

How do I book film tickets on

Once you have found the cinema and film for which you want to book tickets, click on a hyperlinked, gold showtime link or a hyperlinked, gold "Book Tickets" link. If you choose the "Book Tickets" link, you will then be asked to choose a showtime for the film and cinema you have selected. After clicking on a showtime, select your ticket types and quantities. You will be asked to either sign in, create a new account if you are new and would like to create a account, or check out as a guest, before you can complete the transaction process.

How can I tell which cinemas offer tickets for sale online?

Cinemas that offer tickets for sale online will have their cinema name and showtimes hyperlinked and gold. All other cinemas will be gray. You can see all of's partners here.

Why are some showtimes hyperlinked while others are grayed out?

Showtimes that are hyperlinked and gold indicate those are available for book. Showtimes that are grayed out indicate that either the showtime is in the past, the show has been sold out, or tickets are not available for booking on

Can I buy movie tickets for future dates?

Absolutely! We feature advance ticket sales on To search for a showtime in the future, just select a different date by clicking the calendar icon next to the date. The number of days in advance that you can book tickets for a film varies by cinema and by film.

Generally, a cinema's release schedule for a film runs from Friday to Thursday. Showtimes for cinemas generally appear on Wednesday. However, for a blockbuster release in high demand, tickets and showtimes may be available up to a month in advance. Schedules are set by each individual cinema, not by, so please check back frequently if the film you are looking for is not yet for sale in your area.

Which showtimes offer bargain/matinee prices?

Bargain and matinee showtimes and prices vary by cinema. To determine the price of a ticket, please click on the hyperlinked showtime. All available ticket prices are displayed on the transaction page.

Why am I only able to order tickets for certain cinemas?

Tickets are available for book on from our partners. We are adding new cinemas frequently, so please check back regularly. If your favourite cinema is not listed, please contact the cinema manager to let them know you wish to book their film tickets on!

What is the price of a film ticket?

The ticket price is set by the cinema chain. As a result, prices will vary for each cinema. Once the cinema and showtime for the film you wish to book tickets for is determined, the prices and ticket types for that showtime will appear on the transaction page.

As with the ticket price, the cinema determines their Administration Charge. This fee is noted on the transaction page below the ticket total.

Why is there an Administration Charge added to the ticket price?

The nominal fee set by each cinema covers the convenience and costs associated with booking your tickets on You may enjoy such conveniences as bypassing the box office queues, booking advance tickets to highly anticipated films, and being assured that you will not be turned away from a sold out show. Also you have free access to showtimes, film and cinema information for almost every cinema.

The Administration Charge associated with your order is noted below the ticket total on the transaction page where you select your ticket type and quantity.

Can I change my ticket order during the checkout process?

Yes, you may change your order at any time during the transaction process prior to confirming the booking. Just click on the "Edit" link at the top right of any booking page you wish to edit. This will take you back to the section you wish to edit, then you may continue on with the transaction.

I did not receive a confirmation email. How can I tell if my order was processed?

Log into your account. In the Order History section at the bottom of this page you will be able to see ticket transactions from approximately the last 3 months. The Order History section details if there was a problem with the order and provides a link to re-print your confirmation page and print your tickets (if applicable). You must be signed into your account during the book process to retain your order history; the guest option will not retain your order history. How can I find out the status of my order and if my credit card was charged?

If the confirmation screen displayed the text, "Congratulations! Your Tickets Were Booked Successfully." your order was successful and your credit card was charged. You will receive an email confirmation of your order as well.

Once a booking has been confirmed, can I make changes to my order or get a refund?

Select cinemas offer refunds or exchanges, so please make sure you have correctly selected the film, cinema and showtime before clicking on the "Book" button and have read over all sales disclaimers, pickup instructions, and refund policies pertaining to the particular cinema before finalizing your book. Which credit cards does accept?

Each cinema chain determines which credit cards they will accept. When you are ready to make your book, the transaction page will have a pull down list of all the credit cards they will process.

Can I book tickets with my credit card's Internet security protection feature or "single use" card like "Verified by Visa" or "Discover Deskshop"?

For security purposes, you must use the actual credit card number imprinted on the credit card and that same card must be presented at the cinema. Please note if a "temporary or single use" card number is used that is different from the imprinted credit card number, you will be unable to retrieve your tickets at the cinema.

What is the "Card ID"?

To help guard against fraud, the major credit card companies have implemented a security feature for "card not present" transactions to ensure the credit card is actually in the possession of the user during the time of the transaction The "Card ID" is a three or four digit, non-embossed (flat) number printed on the front or back of the credit card that provides an extra level of security for you and This number is not stored in the magnetic stripe or by, nor does it appear on sales receipts or statements.

"Card ID" is a generic term for this security feature. Visa and Electron call this security feature "CVV2" (Card Verification Value 2). MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro, and Solo call this security feature "CVC2" (Card Validation Code 2). American Express and Discover call this security feature "CID" (Card Identification Number).

Where is the "Card ID" located?

Visa / MasterCard / Discover
For Visa/Electron (CVV2), MasterCard/Eurocard/Maestro/Solo (CVC2), and Discover (CID), the "Card ID" is a 3-digit, non-embossed (raised), reverse italics number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately following the 16-digit credit card number. Sometimes, only the last 4-digits of the credit number are listed before the "Card ID".

American Express
For American Express (CID), the "Card ID" is a 4-digit, non-embossed (flat) number printed on the front of every American Express Card on either the left or right side. The "Card ID" is always located above the embossed (raised) credit card number on the face of the card. In some instances, the "Card ID" is located on the left side of the credit card, but is always above the account number. Some cards have a four-digit number embossed below the account number, but this is not the CID number.

What if I cannot locate the "Card ID" or my credit card does not have a "Card ID" number?

Can I book student or military tickets on

Currently, student and military tickets are not available for book online. Those ticket types require ID and are only available at the cinema box office.

Can I book gift certificates online or use gift certificates I booked at the cinema?

At this time, does not offer or redeem online gift certificates. However, you may be able to book gift certificates online through the websites for specific cinema chains and redeem them at the cinema box office.

Do you offer group discount tickets?

Unfortunately, does not offer group discounts on tickets. You may explore the cinema company websites to see if they offer any group discounts, which would be redeemed at the box office.

Receiving Your Tickets

How and where do I pick up my movie tickets?

Film tickets booked on can be picked up at the cinema box office or through an Automated Box Office machine located in the lobby or outside of certain cinemas. Tickets can be picked up the day they are booked; you do not have to wait until the day of show if you are booking tickets in advance. For some cinemas, you also can print your tickets. Please review your order confirmation page generated by the web site for specific instructions on how to pick up tickets at the cinema that you will be attending. Please be sure to bring the same credit card you used to book the tickets with you to the cinema.

What do I need to bring to the cinema to retrieve my tickets?

If you have booked tickets that need to be picked up at the cinema, you must bring the credit card used to book the tickets to the cinema with you. You do not need to bring the email confirmation with you. If you have printed your tickets (when applicable), simply bring the bar coded printout with you and give it to the ticket taker.

Do I need my tracking number to retrieve my tickets?

You may print the confirmation page (which includes the tracking number and other details of your book) for your own information, but you will not be required to present the number at the cinema to retrieve your tickets. Your credit card will allow you to pick up the tickets you have booked.

I closed my browser before printing my confirmation page or ticket. How can I find out the status of my order and if my credit card was charged?

If the confirmation screen displayed the text, "Booking Confirmed," your order was successful and your credit card was charged. If I am booking my tickets online, why must I still arrive early to the cinema?

Most cinemas do not offer reserved seating; therefore, even though you are guaranteed a seat, it is suggested that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the film to get a good seat.

Printing Your Tickets

Can I print my tickets on a personal printer?

Select cinemas that sell tickets through allow you to print your ticket on your personal printer. You can look for the "Print Tickets" icon on the cinema page to see if it is offered in that cinema. During your transaction, select the "Print Tickets" option after you enter your payment information. When your transaction is complete, your ticket will pop-up in its own window and you can print it.

What do I do if I have printer problems after choosing the Print Tickets option?

If you selected the "Print Tickets" option during the check out process, but cannot print your ticket due to a technical problem, please call customer service at +44-2035149556 for assistance.

Once I have printed a movie ticket at home, how do I use it at the cinema?

When you arrive at the cinema, please go straight to the ticket taker. He or she will scan the bar code on your ticket. If your whole party is not going to arrive at the cinema together, simply print or photocopy the ticket for each person. You also can e-mail the ticket to others by selecting the "E-Mail to a Friend" button on the ticket. The ticket taker will denote on the scanner the number of people that enter each time the ticket is presented. This is a measure to discourage counterfeit tickets from being distributed.
